Books and baseball and bowling oh my

We had another super busy week. I am super impressed and proud at how well Jack is doing with homeschool.  He has so much trouble focusing and paying attention at public school that I thought we would have our work cut out for us.  I think right now ,at his age and with his attention issues one on one instruction  and help is very beneficial.  He loves math ,science and history.  He is not a big fan of English ,which is why we spend extra time on reading ,writing ,spelling ,grammar and phonics. We met with the homeschool PE group today and completed a lot of fun science experiments.  I wish I would have taken a picture of our cloud in a jar experiment or the makeshift scale to measure mass.  Apparently little rubber bouncy balls have greater mass than little rocks or marbles but they are not as dense.

Day 3 , a friend for him and a friend for me

Yay.  What a fun day. Jason picked up Jack's friend, Hudson and brought him here and we have been busy the whole day. I'm worn out. They have the usual fun stuff but also had family fun games today . They had a picnic lunch ,an egg toss , a sack race ,marshmallow toss, and coconut shot put. Not to mention the hay ride. My friend Jen came up too. I so needed to have adult conversation.  Lol

Day 2 of camping fun

Started off the day with breakfast ,then bounced on the pillow, then put put golf , I made a WKU colored friendship bracelet while Jack played at the playground. Then we swam ,played in the splash pad area ,ate a snack at the duck pond,  then went to the water slide for 2 hours. I only went on the slide 3 times then I spread my towel on the hill and read my book while Jack road the slide over and over again. Then it was dinner time ,candy bar bingo ,more bouncing on the big pillow, roasting starbursts over the fire and watching Frozen on the outdoor movie theater.  The nice neighbor next door felt sorry for me and built our fire. Yay for neighbor's, he could clearly see that I had no idea what I was doing.  Momma is tuckered out. Oh I also forgot to mention that we home schooled for 3 hours before the bounce pillow even opened this morning.  Whew. I knew we were gonna do a half day on Friday and a half day on Saturday so Jack could partake in all the activities.  The best part was that he was compliant.  Yay! I also forgot to mention that today's fun filled day was fueled by Folgers. It is good to the last drop.

Hey Boo Boo

Our first day at Yogi Bear. BTW Jack loves the flexibility of homeschool.  We left after we finished school on Thursday.  We arrived at 2:00 and have already swam ,played in the splash pad area ,been on the water slide 15 times ,road on the hayride , eaten dinner and bounced on the bounce pillow. We are waiting for the outdoor movie to start. We love this place.
