Busy weekend

I had the great opportunity to get to volunteer at Bingo night at the Buddy House, it was so much fun, and everybody won at least once.

Summer Breeze

It has been an awesome summer. I have succeeded in getting Jack outside as much as possible and taking him to do lots of fun, mostly free things. I swear I had like a 2 week long birthday celebration. The older I get the more stuff we just happen to do around my birthday which is awesome.  I come back from a vacation and then host my first Bunco night which was successful.

 I'm at it again, I workout daily.  I have to keep it fun cause I get bored easily with fitness.

 Went on a girls night to dinner and a movie and yes I ate the whole thing, it was so yummy, had to run extra hard the next day, it was worth it.

A Smashing Good Time

I spent the night at my Mom's house a few weeks ago. I went there to drop Jack off to her, since she likes to keep him some in the summertime and I knew I would be dropping him off later and would probably have to spend the night, so I took my smashbook kit that my friend Cass made me and got to work, since I had free time. This is the second half to my All about me 2 page layout, the first page is a few posts back.

A page with Jack and his cousins, used a few more paint chip samples, they are not just solid colors, they have patterns, I used the butterfly one on this page.

Our trip to St. Louis, it was just Jack and I and we did a lot of stuff.  The tickets on the top of the page was when I took him by myself a few years ago, that is all I have from that trip.

He loved riding up the Arch, The Magic House, the baseball stadium, and of course visiting with the Schlemmer's.

I hope to find time to smash my latest trip soon. I have lots of stuff from the trip to Smash.

Family vacation

At my job, I have to take my vacation when the Dr's are on their's and usually the summer week off , either falls on my birthday or Jason's birthday.  It falls on my birthday this year and let's just say I could get used to a 2 week long birthday celebration. LOL I took a 2 day trip with Jack and my Mom, came back rested for one day then took a family vacation to French Lick, Indiana (which is only 2 and a half hours away, I love short trips). We have had a blast at the waterpark, playing neon-glow in the dark golf, laser tag, outdoor put put golf, getting a little sun (it has mostly rained, that's the beauty of the indoor water park), a walking, historical tour of the beautiful West Baden resort, a wine tasting, quality time with my family and today a massage.  I still have the monthly Bunco party to look forward to (with a delicious gluten free cake made by a good friend Kim), my actual birthday party, watching World War Z, watching Monsters U and The Fallout Boy concert. Whew! I am tired just reading all this, but I am not a lazy person by any means.  I can't wait to find the time to Smashbook the trips, just have to find time to craft now (hmm, maybe the week in July my Mom will have Jack).

                                         Jack loves bridges and wants a picture of every single bridge, no matter if it is large or small.  We took back roads to French Lick, so I have no idea where we saw this bridge, but here it is.
