I had time to make a few cards last weekend and am finally getting around to posting them.

This first one was just for fun, no challenge involved. I love the colors of this paper and yes that is real sand.

This second card is the challenge this week for the cute critter club on cafemom, it is to make a tall card. I had all of these images for a while that I had stamped at Cass's house and i finally used them. I thought they needed some gliter. hehe or a lot of glitter. This card for for a cafemommer's daughter's birthday.

Cute Card Thursday

This is my simple celebration card for the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog.

a couple of cards

I just made a quick card for my friend Angela, she is getting married in August.  All of this paper was in a Martha Stewart pack that was rak'd to me, by my sweet friend Cass.  I don't know what stamp company the image is from is was rak'd to me by my sister -in-law's, mom's friend (Rita).  I do love this image though.

My next card is for an inspiration challenge for the CCC on cafemom.  The picture of the cake is the inspirational picture I used since last week was Dr Suess's birthday.

I automatically wanted to use this image I was rak'd, the cake made me think of One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.  I stamped red and blue fish in the background of the card.

Get Sketchy and a trip to the park

On the Get Sketchy Challenge Blog this week, the challenge is a spring card.  I used another sweet image from the Digital Two for Tuesday Blog.

The weather was nice this weekend so we headed to the park.  Jack has an ear infection, but he felt well enough to play outside.

This weekend I also had to work the Health Fair for the office I work for, here is the other Dental Hygienist, Amy  modeling the table.  

Family Get Together

We had a big family get together this past weekend. I just had to post this picture of Jack in the play room sticking his head through the window to the kitchen to beg for dessert, Priceless!

2 challenges in 1 card

This week on the Fab N Funky Challenge blog, they had a color challenge.  The challenge is to only use black and white on your card, you can color the image but that is it.  I have been wanting to try one of these cute images from the Digital Two for Tuesday Blog.  I also used this card for the Papertake Weekly challenge which was to use buttons, bows, brads or bling on your card.
