Barnfest!!!

Jack had fun at Barnfest today with his cousins. They had tractors and a playland area, horse rides, a calf, ponies, yummy food and Chaney's ice cream.
Jack loved rolling around in this and playing in the sand box, but he didn't want to go down the bumpy slide or swing very much.  PONIES!
Jacks first time riding a horse, he did great, but he doesn't smile at all his face is just constant concentration.  I asked him if he was scared and he said "no I was trying to hold on good"

Crafting in TN part 2

Here are the cards I made at Cass's house.  The first one was for my KY crafty friend Lisa who is pregnant right now and having really strange dreams. LOL  Got the images in a set at Joann's for a dollar.  I kept it simple, paper was from Cass.  I stamped the unicorn with eggplant colored ink then colored it with copics and stickles.
I have had these images stamped forever and finally got around to using them, I used Cass's gold stickles and since I was with her and she makes awesome bows, "I was like pretty please make a orange bow"  LOL, the sad thing was it literally took her like 20 seconds to make the bow and I still can't make them.  Curse you bows!
This image was from Cass, the cute jelly gems were an early birthday present from Cass, Thank You, I love them!  I didn't follow a sketch or a challenge or anything today but the colors actually went along with the color challenge over in the Stampers Anonymous group on cafemom, so I entered it.  I used one of Cass's copics too, I am gonna have to get that color, I love it!

This next card is the current freebie over at Bugaboo Stamps so go snag it, they put a new freebie up every Friday.  This paper was some that Cass had given me a while ago and I have been hanging onto it.  The flower brads were from Cass's stash.  I used copics, bics and stickles.  The cute button was in an embellishment container I got from The Angel Company.  I didn't put a sentiment on it yet, cause I don't know who it is going to yet or for what occasion.  I had a blast, but Cass came up with a new plan - craft for half of the day then take the boys to the park or something for the other half cause they go a little nuts after a while, that is a great plan.

Crafty time in TN

Jack and I went down to TN yesterday to spend the day with my friend Cass and her son Noah.  I got 4 cards made and Cass got 3 cards and a scrapbook page.  Our boys were a bit on the cranky side (neither one took a nap) yesterday, but we still managed to get some crafting and talking done.
Jack is exploring in Noah's room, it is always exciting to see new toys.  He LOVES his train table!

A little craft time for the kids. they made FOAM PUPPETS!  Jack went to sleep with his last night, at first he was gonna just tuck it in with his Zhu Zuh pet Scoodles, but he ended up falling asleep with an elephant foam puppet, so cute.

                                                               Being a cheeseball
Jack had a blast, boys did, until nap time came and went and they still hadn't taken naps. LOL
Will post the cards later on today,

Time and Energy to craft = lots of cards in one week, haha

Being off of work, I have had so much more energy and I have gotten so much done, I have quality time with Jack (we have read lots of books and played so much together), The house is cleaned, the laundry is done, I got a lot of cards made this week and my Mojo is not gone yet.
This first card is for my friend Cass who just bought her first house so this is a congrats on your new house card.  She had actually given me these papers, so I know she likes the colors.  The stamps are from JoAnn's in the dollar bin.  The flower was from a rak, the ribbon was from a ribbon swap.  It is hard to see but in the bottom right of the yellow paper I embossed the word congratulation in orange ink.
here is an up close so you can see the congratulations, now I wished I would have used some darker ink, at least you can notice on the actual card, not so much in pictures.
Diane had sent me some pretty bird images, this image took a while to color, but I think it turned out so pretty.  I colored it with my glitter pen, copics and green glaze pen.  It is hard to see but in the bottom right corner on the white paper it says thinking of you.  I can't do bows, the pretty bow was some that Cass had made, I have been hording them and not wanting to use them, but I think it made this card pop.
You can see the coloring pretty well in this picture, I wish I would have colored the bird a little lighter of a shade, cause it kind of blends in with the birdhouse.

Fiber, ribbon, or lace Oh my!

This week the challenge over at Meljen's Designs was to use fiber, ribbon or lace on your card. I used a lacey ribbon that I got in a ribbon swap and of course this cute Meljen's image, which I colored with copics and glaze pens, and I added a touch of glitter here and there.
You can see the shine that the glaze pens give in the second picture better than the first.

A quick Father's Day card

This is just a quick card I made for Jason last night.  I got this freebie a while ago, but I didn't label the company that the image was from so I don't remember.  I added a #1 Dad rub-on, 3 stars and some flat black sticker button things. On the inside of the card it has a cute freebie from PMS.  I forgot to take a pic of it.

Busy as a Bee

Got this sweet image from Diane.  She had embossed it, really makes the image pop.  I kept the card simple, cause I didn't want anything to take away from the image.

Here is a close up of the image

In the CCC group on cafemom, we did a card kit swap.  Angie sent me a great kit, this is my 3rd card with it.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps, they have a freebie every Friday.

This next card was made with another bugaboo stamp and it is made from the same card kit from Angie.

This is a simple 3x3 card made with a image from Papermom dot com.

I am finally getting to use this stamp.  I have been trying to use images from swaps and digital images that I have printed, so I have forgotten about the stamps that I actually have.  This sweet stamp was given to me by my sweet friend Ivy.  I kept the card simple, I went a little crazy with the polka dots. LOL

I was given a set of pretty flower stickers a while ago and am finally opening them.  I made a simple 3x3 card.

This next card I kept simple too.  My Mom gave me a gift card to HL last year and I bought this set of flowers, among other things.  Earlier this year we moved into our new house, we couldn't use the garage for a while, so we had to park outside, and our new house is next to a huge field with field mice.  I am hypoglycemic so I always have to carry snacks and stuff with me in case I get a low blood sugar.  Field mice +food in the car = 2 mice in the car causing a mess and stinking it up.  They are all gone now.  My friend Heather over at Fresh Brewed Designs created this image for me.  LOL I love it.

This is the inside of the 3x3 bird card. Blogger was making me mad and not letting me correct anything once it was on.  The sentiment is also by Papermom dot com.

Butterfly Birthday Wishes

I made this birthday card for my sweet friend Cass.  I was rak'd these images, cut them out , colored them with glaze pens, then put gems on them.  All papers were from my scrap pile.

Had So Much Fun Making This

Had so much fun making this card for my Mom's birthday. I won't tell you what the inside says in case my Mom is viewing this, but it's funny.
