Fun at Monkey Joe's

We had a playdate in TN today with Cass and Noah! Jack and Noah played nonstop (well we had to make them stop and rest)

He never just slid down on his bottom, he always turned sideways.

Even though we never actually turned the vehicles on, they enjoyed just sitting in them.

he's a super climber

Cass and I had the chance (barely) to make some really simple but cute cards.
This is Cass's card.

This is my card for a cafemommer that just had a baby boy, Congrats Lizzie!

What I have been up to lately

This is a card I made for the stampers anonymous group in cafemom, it was to use the sketch or make a spring card, I decided to make a spring card using this hoppy birthday image from papermom.com.

This next card is for the CMM group on cafemom, we had to recycle goods to make an Earth friendly card for Earth day. The patterned paper is actually a coffee filter that I inked up with several inks then sprayed with gold glitter spray. The tab on the ribbon is from a coke can and the stickers were a RAK.

The next 4 scrapbook pages are what I made when Cass and Noah came up a few weeks ago for our scrapbook day. I need more days like this to get caught up. Cass has way more scrapbook experience than I do, so like every 10 minutes I was like Cass does this color match this color or does this make this page look too busy. Hahaha. Cass just needs to teach a class every week with new layouts, I would so be there.

She printed off the Goofing At Grandma's letters with her cricket, and the orange border she let me have (it was from her stash of stuff that she got on her Gatlinburg trip). I also used some chipboard that she also got on her trip. Then I used some flower and circle rub-ons that I had received in a RAK, I also used some Bazzle bling paper.

This next page is for Jack's first birthday (yeah I know he is 3 now, that is why I need Cass to come up and catch me up, hehe). The icing and sprinkles paper in the background was from cass's stash. He had a Baby Einstein Party and I had some birthday stickers and Baby Einstein stickers that I decorated with. I also used some bazzle bling paper as photo mats on this page.

I think this red photo mat paper was from cass's stash. Do you see a pattern here, it is so much more fun to scrap with someone casue you feed off each other's idea's, creativity and stash of goodies.

Update

Sorry I haven't been on in a while, been extremely busy.  A few weeks ago Cass and Noah came up and we worked on scrapbook pages, I was determined to get caught up on scrapbooking and not spend all my crafting time just on cards.  I made 2, 2 page layouts, I will hopefully post some pics later today.  I plan on working on a few cards later for cafemom and hopefully start on another scrapbook page.  The weather had been so nice that I didn't want to keep Jack inside just so I could craft (that would be pretty selfish), so we have spent most of the weekends out and about, earth day fest, parks, library, hanging with friends, swimming, walking.  There is rain and thunderstorms in the forecast today, so we won't be outside, hopefully I will have time to craft haha.

TGF Team Challenge Week 2

This is the card I used for the TGF team challenge week 2.  I used birthday boy Ian.  Papers are from a DCWV stack.  I colored the image with bics and copics.
