Puppets, plays and parades Oh my

I love  fun free stuff to do with Jack. We went to the winter  reading  program puppet show (Jack was able  to be part of the act ) , then made ornaments  and played Legos with Aiden. The next day was the play "The Frog Prince ". I thought  the children's  theater  did an amazing  job.  That night we were  supposed to go to  the downtown  Christmas  tree  lighting  ceremony but it was  rained out  so we went to see the new Penguins of Madagascar  movie instead. Then Saturday morning we went to Christmas  parade . After  the parade  the local museum had a ton of free Christmas activities for kids: pictures with Santa  and Mrs. Claus , gingerbread  cake , ornament making , Christmas tattoos, a scavenger  hunt with prize for completion, a magic show  , a balloon artist ,log building (Jack's  favorite  ) Christmas carolers and even Big Red  the WKU mascot was there. Then  my Mom watched  Jack so we could go to an Ugly sweater  Christmas  party.  It was a great  weekend.
