Vacation

We had an awesome  vacation  a few weeks ago. We went to the U.S. space and rocket center and Fort Walton Beach , FL.  We don't  take homeschool books with us on vacation  but we still  learn a lot. I don't  factor those hours  into our total , it's  just extra educational  fun. The U.S. space and rocket center was a blast , lots of fun interactive stuff to do there.
In Florida we learned about density and compared wet and dry sand , we studied  crab and shells with a magnifying glass . We completed  a science  experiment  with the glass , the sun and paper. We went to the Indian Museum and old  Fort Walton school house. The Gulfarium is a favorite  of ours too. Jack actually  read all the informative plaques about all the animals this year. That is the first time he has ever done that . He loved  the Emerald  Coast  Science Center. They had a lot of cool science experiments. This was an awesome trip. We were  able to relax a lot and swim too. We even read , played math games , reviewed  spelling  words and discussed geography  on the car rides to and from Florida. We made great time  on the ride home and Jack was.abke to attend  his friend's  fun birthday  party as well.
